Set in 2044, 4 Day Weekend Underground reimagines the West Coast of Scotland as a landscape of borders and restrictions on freedom. Roger, a foolhardy rogue and 'Runner' from Glasgow's Exclusion Zone traverses the physical and spiritual realms of these landscapes, meeting other like-minded underground figures along his way. Roger moves covertly across land divisions in this dystopic depiction of Scotland, evading surveillance and detection. His bold confidence makes it hard for him to keep to the shadows.
